IAG New Startup Accelerator Programme – Hangar 51

International Airlines Group (IAG) are inviting startups to solve the issues affecting the aviation industry through its newly launched global accelerator programme – Hangar 51.

The initiative was created by IAG, the parent company of Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, Vueling, IAG Cargo and Avios, and tech investor L Marks to support new entrepreneurs to innovate the airline industry.

The 10 week programme, based at IAG’s HQ in London, will help startups trial their products globally, receive mentoring, rapidly accelerate their product development, access customer insights and funding.

The 4 areas of focus are:

  • Improving airport processes: making customer journeys through the airport easier.
  • Digitising business processes: developing new tools and processes to speed-up and simplify the business.
  • Data driven decisions: finding new ways that data can increase customer satisfaction and create business value.
  • Wildcard: any idea that start-ups believe can improve customer experience.

Hangar 51 is open to startups globally and deadline for applying is 6th November – Apply Here.
