London Technology Week 2016 showcasing capital’s booming tech sect.
London tech week celebrates and cultivates London as a global powerhouse of tech innovation by connecting the entire ecosystem both within London and beyond.
The festival takes place across the city from 20th – 26th June.
Tens of thousands of global technology specialists and consumers are set to attend a week of face to face networking, discovery and learning to create an inclusive and sustainable growth environment for organisations and social enterprises in every size.
This year’s tech ambassadors, promoting London’s booming technology sector, includes Kathryn Parsons (Co-Founder of Decoded), Rohan Silva (Co-Founder of Second Home), Martha Lane Fox (CBE Founder of Lastminute.com) and Beatie Wolfe (Singer Songwriter).
Organised by UBM EMEA, London & Partners, ExCeL London and Tech London Advocates – London tech week aims to highlight the capital’s position as Europe’s leading technology hub.
The 2016 event programme centres around Business, Growth, Talent & Inclusion, Innovation and After Hours.
London hosted its first technology week in 2014 and the capital’s digital businesses has since attracted around 62% of the $3.6bn raised by UK firms in 2015, according to latest figures from London & Partners.
