Southampton Science and Engineering Festival
What – The University of Southampton undertakes world-leading science and engineering research and teaching, allowing us to support countless enterprises and innovations that change the world for the better.
The event will be packed with opportunities for everyone to get direct experience of science and engineering across a whole range of subjects through hands-on activities, tours and shows. These will complement a number of exciting new exhibits based on our recently established maritime-focused Boldrewood Innovation Campus that we share with Lloyd’s Register.
When – Saturday 12th March at 10:30am.

SOAS African Development Forum 2016
What – The SOAS African Development Forum is an innovative, student-driven platform for championing African development. We aim to promote international interaction, generate lively thought-provoking discussion and challenge assumptions surrounding development in Africa.
‘Inclusive Growth: Structural Transformation in Africa’ is the theme for the 2016 African Development Forum. The goal of the event is to reflect on Africa’s various paths to development, assess the role of technology, and discuss the possibilities of countries to drive sustainable growth.

Tottenham Green Market
What – Tottenham Green Market is a local event that celebrates the diverse range of Street Food, drink, crafts & vintage from the local area and beyond.
When – 2016 Spring re-launch – Sunday 13 March then every Sunday thereafter.
Affordable Art Fair Battersea
What – Fill your home with art this March, as the Affordable Art Fair springs back to Battersea.
110 local and international galleries will descend on Battersea Park, showcasing an array of original artwork, all available for between £100 and £5,000. Owning art has never been so easy!
Whether you’re seeking something bright and bold, small and subtle, or cool and captivating, with work by over 1,100 artists under one roof you’re sure to be spoilt for choice.
Bring the family and get stuck into our free education programme for kids and adults alike. Hone your skills in a workshop, create your own original print, or drop into a talk or tour and brush up your art knowledge.
