Formula E – the all-electric motorsport racing series – is looking for the next generation of European presenters, aged 18 to 24, interested in kickstarting their media career in sports broadcasting.
The ABB FIA Formula E Championship wants to create a better future in sports through racing and nurturing a culture of inclusivity – starting with ‘democratising opportunities for young and diverse talent on and off the track’.
Entries are open to those residing in the UK, France and Germany. Applicants with no previous broadcasting or sports-related experiences are also welcome to apply.
The presenting competition is currently open to new diverse voices to join Formal E’s existing on-air and online presenter line-up.
Those applying will need to record and submit a 30 to 60 seconds video clip presenting or doing a LIVE commentary of content focused on racing or electric mobility.
Four chosen semi-finalists will receive mentorship and media training, with the winning budding presenter receiving a contract to join Formula E presenting team in Santiago, Chile at the opening-race of its season 7 racing series.
Deadline for the first round of Formula E Open Talent Call is 12th September 2020 and check here for more information before applying.
