Formula E – the all-electric motorsport racing series – is searching for young Filmmakers and content creators to apply for its second open talent call focused on driving ‘positive change around the world’.

This latest initiative is part of Formula E’s Electric Futures programme, which wants to democratise ‘opportunities for young and diverse talent on and off the track’.

The programme is also part of the FIA’s #PurposeDriven movement, moving forward the car racing sport’s commitment to creating better futures through racing.

Selected applicants will be joining the Formula E production team as either a producer or editor for the first race of the 2021/22 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

Entries are open to creators aged between 18 – 24 and must be a UK or USA resident.

Those applying must also make a submission centred around how vehicles can accelerate positive change in the world.

Two finalists – one filmmaker or filmmaking partnership from each eligible entry market – will be invited to take part in a live final at a Formula E race later this season.

The winner will then be selected by high profile independent industry experts

Check here for more information. Deadline for applying is 11th June 2021.
