Application for the fifth annual eBay for Business Awards is open plus the chance to win £20,000 – a competition celebrating and championing entrepreneurship across the UK.

Last year saw entries from thousands of entrepreneurs from across the nation, as they share how they had successfully managed their business during the coronavirus pandemic.

Previous eBay for Business awards was won by Grand Prize winner Patricia Otoa Ayo – founder of OP Chic Boutique.

This years’ award is launched with over 11 categories and each finalist receiving £5,000 to support their business, together with access to a range of tailored marketing and business support.

The Grand Prize winner will be awarded an extra £15,000 (£20,000 prize in total), in recognition of their entrepreneurial flair and success. They will also receive a package of marketing and PR support from eBay valued at over £100,000, giving them the power to stand out, increase exposure and grow their business.

Applicants must be aged 18 and over and winners will be chosen by a panel of judges.

Murray Lambell, General Manager, eBay UK comments: “The pandemic has presented many challenges to small businesses up and down the country, so this year’s eBay for Business Awards are more important than ever in recognising the ingenuity and resilience of Britain’s entrepreneurs.

“The eBay for Business Awards are a key milestone in our year where we stop to celebrate inspiring businesses across the country and their small business power. I’m always amazed by the talent of the business owners who operate on our platform, whether they’re driving huge growth, building livelihoods, creating jobs in the community or fundraising for charity. I can’t wait to see all the stories from this year’s entries.”
