Google for Startups launches three new initiatives to ‘level the playing field for underrepresented founders’ and support startups using technology to upgrade their local economies.
The recently announced new set of programs – Immersion: Black Founders, Immersion: Women Founders, Google for Startups Accelerator – is open to European and Israeli startups and founders tackling today’s biggest challenges facing society:
Immersion: Black Founders
This 12-week program will pair ten Black-founded startups, from the UK and European startup community, with international Google experts to identify and solve their most pressing technical and business challenges, such as implementing machine learning and improving user experience design.
Founders will be connected to venture capital funding and investor networks and given access to workshops focused on fundraising, hiring and sales.

Immersion: Women Founders
A mentoring and acceleration program giving 10 high-growth women founders, from Europe and Israel, access to a specialised Google Advisor, weekly workshops and skill-building sessions over a 12-week period.
Focused on leadership, connections and growth, this program aims to support a global community of women to grow and succeed.

Google for Startups Accelerator
Google is looking for 10-12 startups from Europe and Israel that are using technology to solve societal issues in healthcare, education, news reporting, remote working, finance, wellness, food delivery, or B2B/B2C services.
Aimed at post-Seed funded startups, selected participants will receive access to three months of intensive remote support from Google, workshops and mentoring sessions with Google engineers and external experts plus access to Google products and technical expertise.
