The new coalition will see Shopify’s sellers connect with the TikTok community through shoppable video ads to ‘help them build their brand, drive sales, and create engaged communities’.

Shopify retailers can now create video advertising campaigns from their dashboards and post them directly on the new TikTok For Business  platform.

This uses creativity to support brands in making ‘real connections’ with TikTok’s ‘100 million strong community in Europe‘.

Some of the UK brands already tapping into the new partnership includes West African-inspired jewellery designer Omotola Jewellery, men’s makeup brand War Paint for Men, sustainable Scottish water filtration company Phox Water, and lingerie brand Lounge.

The partnership is aimed at showcasing TikTok and Shopify’s push in supporting businesses to ’embrace new ideas, trends and insights’.

The unique TikTok and Shopify union has also expanded to France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.
